Sanderband® TopStrap – tear-resistant strapping for secure load securing outdoors

Sanderband® TopStrap is specially designed for demanding applications—such as in the construction industry, natural stone processing, or heavy-duty goods. It is also ideal for the packaging industry and anywhere where packages are stored or transported outdoors.

The strap is a hot melt strapping tape made from high-quality polyester threads. It is tear-resistant, weather-resistant, and resistant to UV rays, chemicals, acids, and water. This ensures that the load remains securely fastened even under extreme conditions.

Yes—this is precisely one of its greatest strengths. Whether on construction sites, in quarries, or in outdoor storage, the tape remains stable and secure, even in damp, hot, or freezing conditions.

Despite its robustness, the strap is flexible and can be lashed or knotted without risk of injury. In combination with buckles and tensioning tools, its use becomes even more efficient.

Yes—like all our strapping bands, TopStrap is available in various widths, lengths, and tensile strengths. On request, we can also manufacture it in custom colors or with logo branding.

TopStrap is not the classic alternative to steel strapping—that role is fulfilled by our Sanderband® KB. However, it offers decisive advantages in areas where steel strapping reaches its limits: outdoors, in harsh weather conditions, or in heavy-duty transport. TopStrap is rustproof, flexible for lashing, and remains reliable even in damp conditions or extreme temperatures.
